Episode 6:15
– Thats the end of episode 6. Thanks so much for reading! Next episode should be in late August, although I may have a short 1 or 2 page story to share before then!
Why does it take so long for new Ghost Kiss episodes? The simple truth is that producing Ghost Kiss takes a LOT of work, and I already have a really full schedule working on my other comic Modest Medusa and my rpg The Magical Land of Yeld. I just don’t have a lot of time to work on Ghost kiss, so it takes a few months for me to generate a new episode. Part of it is financial as well. Time that I would spend on Ghost Kiss often ends up getting spent on commissions or freelance illustration work so I can pay my bills. if I had more free time I would spend it working on this comic and producing episodes more often.
If you’d like to support this comic and help me produce it more often there’s three things you can do. First, tell your friends and hep more readers find it! Bringing more readers to Ghost Kiss is a huge help! Second, consider supporting my Patreon. Your support through Patreon makes up a big part of my monthly income, and more support means I can afford to spend more time making comics! Third, buy issues of Combine! Combine is a quarterly sci-fi comic magazine and each issue features episodes of Ghost Kiss. Ghost Kiss is really meant to be read in print, so if you like having physical comic please check out Combine. The current issue is on sale now and back issues are available in discounted bundles!

An so ends Shark Week on Ghost Kiss!
Somebody had to say it! 🙂
Is Jenny going to be a super hero or a super villain now?
And the shark was the ghost of the lake monster and was just portalling the people it ate.
Okay, the MM crossover is a lot more serious then I thought. Of course that also explains wy all the happenings in the MM world do not appear nearly as confusing for people as they should be.
It’s easier to accept that your kid goes to school with a snake girl when a giant robot knocked over a bunch of buildings downtown last year.
Until I read this comment, it never occurred to me that Ghost Kiss and Modest Medusa were set in the same world.
And I hope Adventure Man brought enough capes for everyone. Or did the shark just eat that one guy?
Thats the only guys we saw the shark eat, but Mya mentions finding several other bundles of discarded clothes.
Well, I think we all enjoyed Shark Week at Ghost Kiss.
I think this ark really had a lot of teeth. Really took a big bite out of the semi-normal, ebb and flow kinda life Mya had been having.
I’m excited to see where this takes the Modest Medusa as a whole. This shark villain seemed like a real killer, and even though in the end he was really just full of hot air, I want to believe this reveal will have a reel lasting influence.
I’m not too worried about Adventure Man and Tom though. People go crazy for a shark-dressed man.
Puns over. See you next time! Great story as usual! (I’ll hopefully stop with the puns by then)
Groan…
I was honestly unsure if you could handle moderating that comment. I felt bad about typing it, when I wasn’t laughing like the Happy Mask Salesman. Somehow I don’t feel like I’m showing my appreciation when I bombard a poor soul with terrible puns. I really do apologize, and hope it wasn’t too horrible!
I sometimes really regret ever mentioning that Im not a fan of puns, because I feel like I opened the flood gates. Then I remember that no one would leave puns that complicated anyway unless they care, so its alright.
You aren’t? Oh no I missed that! I pun quite a lot, and don’t often realize that not everyone appreciates them like I do. Ok, I won’t pun anymore- because I do care 🙂
Years ago over on Modest Medusa I mentioned I wasn’t a fan of puns, and now puns have become a staple of the comments section there.
Huh, I was wrong. I suspected I would be wrong, but did you make them come back because I said they wouldn’t?
The pages were all done by that point.
So… does that hero organization (how’s it called?) know about Modest? Or they only know about something that harasses people?
My and Adventure Man work for the NSA, and if the NSA in their world is anything like the one in our world they probably know absolutely everything about Modest. Why they haven’t taken her, or at least come and looked at her, remains to be seen.
She is a Princess from another Country. She propably has Diplomatic Immunity.
When in doubt: Would you want to start a war with a Magical world where time runs different and that is full of Chainsaw Unicors, Vampires and portals to your country?
Panel 5: His eyes are higher than that, Miya. (Honestly, it looks like she’s checking out his abs more than anything further south, but the idea amused me, still.)
My intent was that she was looking at his junk. I mean, if a naked guy walked up to me, with his crotch at eye level, I probably couldn’t help looking. I don’t think she’s starring though.
Of course she’s starring, the comic is named after her. But she’s probably not staring. (Sorry, I try not to make fun of typos, but sometimes I can’t resist.)
GK is AWESOME. I love, love, love it!
Thanks so much Kevin!
Are his clothes part of adventure mans body or has he cloth creating powers?
He just has a normal costume.
He never vanished, so his clothes never dropped.
Oh, now I understand the question. Yeah, Adventure Man was able to resist… whatever the shark does… long enough that he wasn’t vaporized or whatever. She his clothes remained on his body. Tom was vaporized (or teleported, or dissolved or whatever) and left his clothes behind, only to reappear later.
Now where is Adventure Man looking in Panel 6?
Mermaid Magic!
Terrifying and creative monster! Otherworldly arsenals! Happy ending with hook for the next adventure!
Yup, looks like a superhero comic. 🙂
Nani?! Can’t say I was expecting this, but… I hope it goes better than the Milo Murphy’s Law/Phineas and Ferb crossover stuff. That was, uh… That was a bit of a train-wreck, to me.
I wonder if it’s more of a shock to be eaten by a ghost shark or pop out of it naked in the snow.
