Ghost Kiss costume guide
I get a lot of questions about Mya’s costume, so I thought I’d make a guide! This is actually Mya’s second Ghost Kiss costume. We’ve never seen the original, but it includes a cape and thigh high boots. It was awful, and I have a story planned around it.
Looking forward to reading that story, then.
how did she gain her powers? Was she born with them or was it accidental? is there anyone immune to her power? For her power to work on Modest would she have to kiss every single snake?
Good questions!
We don’t know exactly how Mya gained her powers yet, but we do know she wasn’t born with them. They appeared in college. We’ll learn more about that in the next Ghost Kiss story.
So far no one appears to be immune to her power. I’m not sure what would happen if she kissed Modest. Modest’s snakes seem to be different aspects of her personality, but they also seem to have their own distinctness. Maybe we’ll find out one day?
It would be hilarious if she used her powers on Modesto and the smart snake remembered everything, then every time they met the snake would tell Modest to greet her by name, just so she would wonder how this medusa girl always finds out her secret
That would be really good. Might use.
Wouldn’t it be better to use something nontoxic for the knuckle weights? Iron, maybe.
Maybe? Lead is whats used in the real world though.
I just read through the whole series, and I really liked it!
Thanks! hopefully some day I’ll be able to make more.
more please
Someday.
Not to mention the obvious, but with the Land of Yeld RPG on second edition and apparently being well-received, maybe thinking about a supers RPG based on the Ghost Kiss setting is worth thinking about. I know the settings cross over in the comics, but if you didn’t want to invest the time and effort to hack Yeld into something more supers-friendly, you might try talking to the folks at Greater Than Games. The Sentinel Comics RPG is far more setting-neutral than they seem to think it is already, and after the debacle with Flat River Games and the SCRPG kickstarter the company could really benefit from another IP using a stripped-down version of their game engine while they continue to struggle with their own fulfillment woes.
I saw your post on Youtuber!
This is something I’ve considered. I don’t think that Yeld ssytem would work well for a superhero gamer, and I feel like theres already a lot of really good supers games out there, so I don’t think I feel a need to try to innovate in that niche. But… maybe something thats more focused on managing a superhero life with a civilian life/love life? That could be interesting.
I do have plans to includer Ghost Kiss in a Yeld adventure. IDK how soon that will happen though. After I get back to the comic. I’ve had a new chapter half finished for… 3 years.
I hadn’t heard anything about “the debacle with Flat River Games and the SCRPG kickstarter”. I guess I’m going to look that up!
